Let's just hope the GOP continues to double down on their social safety net attack, and that no extraneous shiny objects come along to distract vox populi from the current rage target.

This is a big issue for me. Had the house been willing to stand up and vote before the elections, this would not have been an issue. It sure helped them, right? Look at the election results.

I will extend the same anger that they would not vote on the bush tax cuts. They put it off on the president. He had to take the fall.

Agreed entirely, Dorothy. Our President begged the House to take action on taxes, and the cowards scuttled off to hide in what they thought would be safety. Instead, they scuttled the House majority.
