True, the wording above in fact came from the Ron Paul campaign, regarding one Eric Dondero, a former congressional aide who now writes that his libertarian-isolationist boss's views roamed from "pure lunacy" to assorted "stupid and whacky things." Yet that other fact -- the fact that Mr. Dondero nonetheless stayed with Paul throughout these chronically acute periods of political dementia -- merely indicates that they were made for each other.
Just like the entire Republican asylum.
