The soft bigotry of

"Romney’s critique of Obama is often focused on competence more than ideology. "He’s a nice guy, but he’s in over his head," Romney often says."

is striking. Bush was in over his head-a incompetent nitwit in the wrong place at the wrong time. To say that Obama is in over his head stinks of Dick Cheney's remark about the adults being in charge again. The smug sense of entitlement these people (the GOP) have is one of the biggest problems we face.

Editorial note: For some inexplicable reason I earlier, twice referred to Rich Lowry as "Nick" Lowry. As intimated, I've no idea why my brain changed poor Mr. Lowry's Christian name in the process of writing the above, but an alert reader let me know of this mistake and I made the appropriate changes. Sorry for the confusion.

Mitt sparkled did he? Was he standing in daylight at the time? I don't think the other Vultari Capitalists are going to like that much.
