Interesting tidbits from Maggie Haberman:
"I am so pleased to be here with your senior senator, the passionate champion for working people and middle class families, Elizabeth Warren!" [Hillary] Clinton exclaimed, going on to sound one of her most populist messages since she hit the campaign trail two weeks ago.
The [Boston] rally was energized but the ballroom was not full, and there were no more than 400 people on hand.
Gov. Deval Patrick praised Warren repeatedly as a fighter. Patrick, who has said he won’t run for president in 2016 but who has expressed concern about Clinton being anointed as the inevitable Democratic nominee, did not mention Clinton in his speech.
I guess the sound of "Veep" appeals not to Patrick. As for his presidential aspirations, though, he might want to reconsider. Any presumed next president of the United States who can't draw more than 400 people to a partisan rally is likely less "inevitable" than the current presumption holds.
