Thanks for the tip, DA, I have cancelled my private jet because I dislike anything with four or more legs - and the more legs there are the more I dislike them. Mind you, I'm not to sure about some of those two-legged critters, either!

Old boy, as it happens, one of my own ancestors hailed from Arkansas, and one of my friends hails from Hope, AR, and knows people who know the Big Dog, as it were.
You'll be glad to know that there is or was a distaste for excessive bureaucracy in that part of the world. In the school district he went to, the District Superintendent, which is the executive who runs a given district, served not only as what you would call the headmaster or principal of his school, but was a teacher in the classroom as well.

DA, I only became interested in the Ozarks because one of my regular commenters at 'my place' is an Arkie through and through and curiosity made me check it out. The Ozark region struck me as being 'drop dead gorgeous' and were I to visit your country again that is where I would aim for. Mind you, I suspect that I might have a little difficulty with the language!
If I decide to visit I will rely on you to clear all those nasty little critters away, you know, the 'Chiggers', and the 'Clintons' in Little Rock!
