Only the demonic cruelty of Donald J. Trump could have made the Wall Street Journal's editorial board a pleasure to read:
Donald Trump won’t let even success intrude on his presidential ego, so naturally he couldn’t let the Senate’s health-care victory stand as the story of Tuesday. Instead he continued to demean Jeff Sessions, and in the process he is harming himself, alienating allies, and crossing dangerous legal and political lines.
Beyond a vote to proceed with party-wrecking debates on bills going nowhere, what is "the Senate's health-care victory" that the WSJ is talking about? Who the hell knows. This is, after all, still the Wall Street Journal's editorial board. But at least it recognizes presidential self-destruction when it sees it, and condemns its cruelty.
