Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie's Let Trump Be Trump, a purported history of the demented gangster's rise to the White House, was released yesterday. Today, Politico has reprinted a short excerpt, in which one will find the eloquence of two halfwits.
From Politico's short excerpt — which I gather is representative of the entire, laborious memoir — I give you these short excerpts.
*[Paul Manafort is] the fucking expert, right?
*Trump went fucking ballistic.
*[Trump] ripped [Manafort's] fucking head off.
*It was in the fucking New York Times.
Since my teenage daughter's earliest days, I have taught her the linguistic lesson that the f-word in all its variations is a legitimate English word — it's in Merriam Webster — to be used, in appropriate circumstances before the proper audiences, for emphasis, as Merriam Webster notes; in other words, as long as it is used sparingly. Otherwise its overuse is ironclad evidence of the speaker or writer's severely limited vocabulary, which is why ill-schooled, moronic gangsters employ the word so much. They've no other way to describe, say, experts they don't admire, as well as newspapers and someone going ballistic.
Thank you, Messers. Lewandowski and Bossie, for substantiating my latter point.
