In a 22 January survey, Public Policy Polling labeled Trump a "clear underdog for reelection." For if the election were held today, Joe Biden would beat him, 53-41. Bernie Sanders would too, 51-41. So would Kamala Harris, 48-41.
Beto O’Rourke? Yes, he would also beat Trump, 47-41. Elizabeth Warren would win by the same margin, 48-42. And Cory Booker and Kirsten Gillibrand would both whip Trump, 47-42.
Note that no matter whom Trump was matched against, his percentage never exceeded 42.
Also of interest is that voters would take either Nancy Pelosi or even Chuck Schumer over Donald Trump as POTUS; that nearly half (45 percent) the electorate "think Trump has committed crimes since he began running for President"; that more voters approve of impeaching Trump, if crimes are confirmed, than not (46-44); and that, again, if crimes are proved, an even larger number (61 percent) believe Trump "should be indicted and prosecuted in the courts."
Last, after two years of his lone fixing of things, only 38 percent of voters believe Trump has made America great again. The ingratitude!
