This evening my daughter and I were talking and we remembered this post, which I thought those of you who missed it three years ago might enjoy.

While cleaning her room (that's a first) in preparation for her year away [in France on a foreign exchange student program], my daughter just found this letter, from 2007:

My [late] wife and I were Obama supporters, so the above is Exhibit A that we both encouraged free and independent thinking.
