« Is this article satire? "How to Persuade a Trump Voter" | Main | The White House — rather, the Bleak House — and pre-"Great War" anguish »

Turnout and how well voters can resist foreign propaganda efforts and Republicans trying to change the rules or casting a cloud of criminal suspicion over who the Democratic nominee is at general election time. And also how well voters will resist the mainstream media playing into republican hands by assisting in casting that cloud of suspicion like they did with Hillary Clinton. We must learn the lessons of 2016 with the attitude of "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me".

Turnout is the magic word. But that requires a unified and focused Democratic party. It's not exactly a gift they're known for.

I was just reading that today a group of Democrats from Trump districts got together and are mulling over just censuring Trump instead of impeachment. Today of all days they choose to do this. And it doesn't matter that they don't have the votes. They don't care that it plays into Republican's agenda of "ah being a traitor and selling America to the highest bidder? Just a little naughty.Send him to bed without dessert and no tv for a week. See - even the Democrats know he's not so bad."
