Interesting that you have a picture of Paul Ryan there. He made a political career out of robbing widows and orphans while living fat off the government for most of his life

Who on earth even needed a pandemic response team? Wasteful government spending!

The really obscene part of his biography, (speaking of widows and orphans) is that after his father died when was a teenager, he received social security death benefits and used them to help pay for college. Then went to work for the government supplying them with strings of magic asterisks so that the Republicans could dismantle the same benefits for other men's sons. He also married money. He's a louse.

And he probably gets a nice fat government pension too. Modern republicans are all about "Libertarianism for thee, socialism for me". They are great at putting other people in danger for their agenda.

This is the ad Trump desperately doesn't want you to see. Let's help it go viral.

What do you mean, “now”?

You will be pleased to know that, per Aviation Week, that Congress has decided that the Pentagon must buy additional billions worth of the still not flying F35. That the Pentagon absolutely did not want and has no use for.

"What about the poor defense contractors? Won't anyone spare a thought for them?!"

Dare one inquire which political party has ruled in New York State over the past few decades?

Jes' askin'!

From The NR:

"March 2
Governor Andrew Cuomo, Mayor de Blasio, and city health officials held a press briefing about the city’s first confirmed case. Governor Cuomo declared, “In this situation, the facts defeat fear, because the reality is reassuring. It is deep-breath time.”

Discussing the fatality rate, he said, “1.4 percent, that’s extrapolating from China and other countries. 80 percent, it’ll resolve on their own. The woman who has now tested positive, she’s at home, she’s not even in a hospital, so the perspective here is important. And the facts, once you know the facts, once you know the reality, it is reassuring, and we should relax, because that’s what’s dictated by the reality of the situation. I get the emotion, I understand; I understand the anxiety. I’m a native-born New Yorker, we live with anxiety. But the facts don’t back it up here. . . . What happened in other countries versus what happened here, we don’t even think it’s going to be as bad as it was in other countries.”

But never mind all that - it's all Trump's fault!

Answer came there none!
