Earlier today, on the "Hugh Hewitt" radio show:
McConnell: We need to have hearings, and we need to confirm judges. Hugh, you and I have discussed this before. My motto for the year is leave no vacancy behind. That hasn’t changed. The pandemic will not prevent us from achieving that goal.
Hewitt: That is music to my ears.

By refusing to hold even hearings on President Obama's nomination of Judge Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court, "it is not an overstatement to say that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has saved the Constitution as we know it."
If a right winger ever stumbled on honesty, decency or consistency, well, he wouldn't be a right winger.
