"The U.S. has carried out more vaccinations than any country in the world, and given a first dose to a higher percentage of its population (12%) than all but five countries: Israel, the Seychelles, the UAE, the U.K. and Bahrain."
The Trump administration deserves credit for accelerating vaccine development. That's just a fact, however much choking, gagging and brain-piercing agony the acknowledgement may cause. Another fact is that any administration would have done the same. Even a (soon-sacked) Mick Mulvaney would have thought, Hey boys, given the deadliest pandemic since 1918 (or 1917, in Trump's world), you think maybe we should assist in coming up with some sort of immunization drug?
But there was one grandpappy of Marxist internal contradictions in the administration's warped operation. Not much good is done by accelerating the development of a life-saving vaccine — and then neglecting the rational dispersal of the microbial little bugger. Vaccines are known to be rather ineffective when not administered in arms.
After a span of only one month, the Biden administration is now approaching vaccinations of 2 million a day. All it took was some leadership, which not every administration is capable of.
Had such leadership reigned months ago — along with its exhortations of mask-wearing and physical distancing — thousands of lives on this day would still be with us, we would not be looking at 500,000 gratuitous covid deaths.

Anyone still saying it doesn’t really matter who is President of the United States?
