Who cares about a rebuke?
"Donald J. Trump’s family real estate business was convicted on Tuesday of tax fraud and other financial crimes, a remarkable rebuke of the former president’s company and what prosecutors described as its 'culture of fraud and deception'....
"While prosecutors stopped short of indicting the former president, they invoked his name throughout the monthlong trial, telling jurors that he personally paid for some of the perks and even approved a crucial aspect of the scheme. The prosecution also sounded a drumbeat of damning evidence that spotlighted his company’s freewheeling culture, revealing that pervasive illegality unfolded under Mr. Trump’s nose for years." (NYT)
Trump's organization will pay only $1.62 million in penalties. A pittance. Trump himself walks, as always. The more investigations, the more he's offensively free. Any other private citizen involved so integrally in a corporate "culture of fraud and deception" would have been indicted, convicted, and jailed. Nothing ever seems to touch this felonious buffoon. It's outrageous.
I'll leave it at that. If I go any further I would only get into a rant, and I don't care for rants. Suffice it to say that I'm tired of this criminal sonofabitch evading the law. Where are the tough prosecutors?
