Politico's management asked its reporters to compile a list of President Biden's three-year accomplishments. I don't mean to be pushy but I'd suggest that you print it, then tape it to your refrigerator door after making copies for family members and friends who might ask over the coming year, What has Biden ever done for me or my country? Some of his administration's accomplishments you may dismiss as insignificant, although they're not to the groups positively affected. Note that the list omits the administration's political, economic and foreign policy achievements such as re-promoting the importance of democracy, cutting the rate of inflation by two-thirds, creating millions of jobs, achieving historic unemployment lows, and pulling the NATO alliance together. The list also omits Biden's renewal of human decency in the White House. At the bottom of this post is a partial list of Trump's "accomplishments." Fair is fair.

What did Trump accomplish? Here's Politico's January 2021 list, which includes his major anti-accomplishments: passing a massive tax cut that further exploded U.S. debt and benefited mostly the wealthy; weakening worker-safety regulations; snubbing congressional oversight; siding with for-profit "colleges" against defrauded students; increasing food insecurity for the poor; shorting workers on overtime pay; augmenting greenhouse effects; killing the federal government's climate research; cracking down on legal immigration; rescinding new bank regulations designed to prevent another financial catastrophe; rolling back President Obama's rules to fight racial segregation in housing; and slapping counterproductive tariffs on trade and disastrously refusing to join the invaluable Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement. He also tweeted a lot, defamed dozens of distinguished Americans and allies, was twice impeached and made "30,573 false or misleading claims."
