"I will be voting for Trump."
"Having said that, I stand by what I said in my suspension speech."
Nikki Haley is Exhibit A for centuries-long misogynists' belief that women are irrational.
In her suspension speech, Haley refused to endorse Trump because she knows he's a psychopathic idiot. She noted that about 40% of primary voters agreed.
But "I will be voting for Trump," says Haley.
During her campaign, she herself acknowledged the scourge of Trump. She condemned his non-commitment to NATO and detested his admiration of the sadistic, homicidal Vladimir Putin.
But "I will be voting for Trump," says Haley.
She said again and again that "standing by Ukraine ... is a moral imperative. But it's also more than that. If we retreat further, there will be more war, not less." Correct. Yet abandonment and retreat are Trump's weirdly wretched ideas of a foreign policy.
But "I will be voting for Trump," says Haley.
Also during her campaign she noted, observed, remarked, maintained and said Trump is "unhinged," "more diminished," mentally "unfit," "he's not qualified to be president of the United States," and he's "like suicide for our country."
Therefore, Haley will be voting for Trump.
American women are not impressed, Nikki, because it's true they're the better half and rational. So please, stop turning the calendar back to the benighted eras of female irrationality and never again say you represent in any way the thoughtful women of America — as well as a scattering of my breed.
All these clowns will do anything to be on the ticket, because they assume he'll win and then die in office.

"The next president"? Are you saying he's definitely going to be president again?

No, she was speaking generically. Come to think of it, she usually spoke that way, since it allowed her to be vague.
