More tomorrow on Quinnipiac's latest poll. But this shouldn't wait.
In the wake of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. suspending his presidential campaign as an independent candidate and endorsing Donald Trump, a majority of likely voters (64 percent) say RFK Jr.’s endorsement does not have an impact on their view of Trump, while 19 percent say it makes them think more favorably of Trump and 15 percent say it makes them think less favorably of Trump.
A total wash.
And the best part is, he's not going to be able to get off the ballot in at least three swing states. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/08/29/rfk-ballot-michigan-wisconsin-north-carolina/

Well, VoR, if you were so dismissive of RFK jnr you couldn't care less whether he's on the ballot, or not. Any shift by the rusted on Rfk fans could be significant.
To PM, who states, after listening to KH, that "something you said five years ago which is not what you're saying today is actually pretty damned silly", I'm so much in disagreement. Kamala Harris, robustly expresses certain views on very important issues but she's changed her mind? Really? She's not an "adolescent" who's just grown up and learned a little more, she's the Presidential nominee who has not had to contend with any opposition.
Kamala Harris has to answer more questions than most in her position because she's been part of the governing body, close to the seat of power for years, and she's had no scrutiny whatsoever. The changing of her positions on certain major issues smacks of political expediency. Much as you hold your political opponents in contempt, they're more canny them you give them credit for..and they can still win. Kamala Harris needs to up her game.

Mary, Harris changed her position on fracking because she needs Pennsylvania, which is heavily involved in it. Without Penn her odds of winning take a steep dive. That would leave the US vulnerable to its Constitutional death, with DJT in the White House. One serving of political expediency to save the world's oldest democracy from authoritarianism is a miniscule price paid. And one I can afford.

Well, Mary, I have to say that I'm more amused than concerned. I met the man once, and he's a total whackjob.
