I adhere to 11 rules of better living through refined trust.
* Never trust a Christian who tells me what a good Christian he is.
* Never trust but-you'll-pay-less shoes.
* Never trust that someday I'll get organized.
* Never trust a Republican, any Republican.
* Never trust private enterprise over government service.
* Never trust promised money.
* Never trust expiration dates on canned food.
* Never trust GPS for the best driving route.
* Never trust my internet provider to provide internet.
* And — never trust a New York City mayor who hammers the message of his upright, clean-living, hates-crime virtues.
Note: Number 11 is closely related to Number 1.
