Five months of a textbook imbecile's leadership

His fickle tax on the world has imposed global trade's unchanging instability; his nakedly unconstitutional deportation and otherwise just plain idiotic depletion of an indispensable sector of America's farm, hospitality and home-construction workers —

Plus his beloved Bigass Ugly Bill aims to shaft all those not of his class and heave trillions more onto the nation's debt, thus sustaining international flights from the dollar, calamitous fears of Treasury's incessant neediness, inflation's climb and interest rates' elevation —

And let's not overlook his unleashed Gestapo hounds' rather indelicate objections to the political opposition's mere availability to what all repressive regimes label the doubleplusungood enemy Lügenpresse. (But things here at home can't get any worse than this, right?)

Now auld Corporal Bone Spurs, the once-yungin Hopalong Osteophytes, has gone and rescinded his emphatic no-more-foreign-wars oath delivered unto a really dumb electorate and army of Maga morons.

Today he swore to reporters about the Middle East's already ignited tinderbox: "Nobody knows what I’m going to do" — which of course included his person and all-encompassing I-never-know-what-I'm-doing self."

All we know is that to one authoritarian country he's threatening the immeasurable peril of explosively "defending" another authoritarian (as well as genocidal) country. We assume his unthinking is this: Might as well keep authoritarianism in the crime family. Nice touch, but a doom trap's incalculability is the five-bullet Russian roulette of military and geopolitical affairs.

A few moments ago I read an online commentator's chilling reminder, "And it's only Wednesday." To needlessly reframe his remark, every week's stupendously rapid accumulation of "his" even more stupendous destruction, domestic and foreign, arrives like clockwork. Insured, too.

Care to be horrified a bit further? Think on this. We're only eight bloody percent into at least 60 months of elected imbecility.
