HuffPost reports on another Capitol "protest" in the works — "Justice for J6" — originally announced on Steve Bannon's podcast by former Trump campaign staffer Matt Braynard.
"We’re going back to the Capitol, right where it started" — it being the "largely peaceful" event of Jan. 6, said Braynard. "And it’s going to be huge. As we continue to raise the profiles of these [jailed] individuals, it makes it harder and harder for the left’s phony narrative about an insurrection to stick. We’re going to push back on the phony narrative that there was an insurrection."
Huffpost also reports that an unidentified person who met with Trump at his recent "Cabinet meeting" raised the prospect of a coming rally by a "a special group," though the person mentioned no specifics. The prospect was posted in a later-deleted tweet by the psychotic Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) in presumed reference to what former chief of staff Mark Meadows disclosed as Trump & Co.'s "plans to move forward in a real way."
Braynard hopes to hold the rally, scheduled for Sept. 18, on the drearily familiar West Lawn of the Capitol, the site of the "largely peaceful," bloody and murderous Trump insurrection of Jan. 6.
I will watch their endeavors with fascination.

That might have seemed a little flippant. It was not intended to be so. In fact I wonder if these nitwits have an alternative plan to overwhelm the White House. I doubt the Secret Service will be as reluctant to shoot as the police. And I hope the Service will be well armed.

I would expect that the current President will be more willing than The Former Guy to call out the National Guard.

Good. It's pretty clear by now that a full-scale battle is what's needed to point out the scale of the problem we have here with these neo-confederates.
